I only knew Albatross/Oh Well etc before that. I was completely blown away when I heard that stuff for the first time in the early 90s(?). Maile's mixes of the 25 minute Rattlesnake Shake, Green Manalishi, Oh Well, Jumping At Shadows, World In Harmony, Only You, Sandy Mary, Loving Kind etc. Nick Watson boosted the bass guitar and got better overall clarity (and included a lot more from the concerts) but also tended to mix Danny down a bit compared to Peter.

That was something Rich Orlando was not able to find out (much to his disappointment) in his stupendous 3 volume Love That Burns trilogy of ebooks covering Green's musical career from the start to 1971-ish when he pretty much dropped out altogether. I wonder if there's anything left in the vaults from those nights.
